Suzanne M. "Suzy" Stayton, 66, of Moravia, NY, passed away March 31, 2026, in Guthrie Cortland Medical Center after a long illness.

Suzy was born August 29, 1959, in Auburn, a daughter of the late Joseph & Rose Catalfano Bianco. She was a graduate of Auburn High School, Cayuga Community College, and Wells College with a BS in Criminal Justice. She had been employed with TCAT in Ithaca and the Moravia School District as a bus driver. She belonged to the Wolcott Elks Lodge # 1763, and she loved camping, being around children & people. She loved her pet cat, Bellamy.

She is survived by her 20+ years partner, Harry Hurst of Moravia; 1 son, Joseph Bianco; 1 daughter, Stephanie Sweeting; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Thomas and Julie Hurst; 1 brother, Leonard Bianco; 2 sisters, Marie Phillips & Jenny Caldwallader; and several nieces & nephews.
