Shelley L. (Fontana) Parmer

Waterloo, NY April 23, 1966 – May 6, 2026 Age 60

Shelley L. Parmer, 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Auburn Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side.

Friends and family may call on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home. A celebration of Shelley’s life will continue after the service at the American Legion Post #435, 7 E. William Street, Waterloo.

Born on April 23, 1966, in Oswego, NY, Shelley was the daughter of the late Ralph and Frances (Tyrrell) Fontana. She worked for 20 years as a cook at Oswego College before spending 13 years with Crosby’s in Clifton Springs. Shelley enjoyed fishing with her husband and was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. One of her greatest joys was supporting her granddaughter, Honesty, in all of her extracurricular activities.

Shelley is survived by her husband, William; her son, Louis Demm; her sister, Judy Fontana; her granddaughter, Honesty; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Donna Sagnerri; her brother, James Fontana; and her adopted aunt and uncle, Alba and Jack.
