Cato, NY July 9, 1959 – April 30, 2026 Age 66

Robert T. "Tom" Eplin, 66, of Cato passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Upstate Hospital.

Mr. Eplin was born in Huntington, West Virginia, on July 9, 1959. He was raised by his loving grandmother. Over the years, Tom was an automobile mechanic and a farmer. He loved horses, his old Chevrolet, and his family. Tom valued liberty and freedom.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Thayle Eplin; children, Chris, Jason, Jeffrey, Ricky, Stephanie, and Jonathan; his brothers, Donnie, Duane, and David; his grandchildren, Jason Jr., Gotham, Isabella, Lillian; and many more grandchildren along with his extensive adoptive family.

Following Mr. Eplin's wishes, there will be no services held.
