Richard E. Williams Sr., 69, of Moravia, NY, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Richard was born October 4, 1956, a son of Alfred Williams Sr. and Dorothy Alice Williams. He was a former resident of Locke and has worked at Cote Lumber. Richard enjoyed fishing, cookouts, visiting neighbors, playing with his grandchildren, and messing with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Mea-Jo Williams; daughter, Margot Townsend; step-daughter, Elizabeth Chrsler; sons, Louis Williams and Richard Marren; step-son, Michael Mills Hall Jr.; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Carol Goyette and Pat Nicholas; several cousins and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Dorothy Williams; 2 brothers, Alfred Jr. and Robert; 2 sisters, Marilyn Miller and Elizabeth Mills.

There are no calling hours scheduled. A Celebration of Life will be held later, TBA. Arrangements are with the Wade Funeral & Cremations Service, Moravia.
