Patrick Michael Hennessy

Patrick Michael Hennessy, 46, of Syracuse died Monday, March 2, 2026, following a brief illness.

Pat graduated from Jordan-Elbridge High School, Niagara University, and Albany Law School. Patrick was a phenomenal criminal defense attorney who took on the toughest cases. He was widely respected by his colleagues and truly appreciated by his clients. Patrick was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers from 2018 through 2020 and honored with the Lincoln Lawyer Award in 2023 and the Collaborator Award in 2025 from the Onondaga County Assigned Counsel Program.

Surviving are his mother Nancy Hennessy and sister Meghan Hennessy.

Calling hours will be 1-4 PM Saturday, March 7th at Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St., Elbridge. Contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in care of the Tigris Shrine Temple, 1121 Milton Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204.
