Patricia A. Powers

Patricia A. Powers, 85, of Moravia, NY, passed away with her beloved family by her side at home.

Pat was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Syracuse, NY. Patricia was the daughter of Robert and Bernice (Stevens) White. She was a resident of Moravia for several years. Pat found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were truly the center of her world. She was immensely proud of each of them. She had a deep love for country music, especially the music of Elvis Presley, and she loved to dance. She also had a fondness for the color yellow, which reflected her bright and warm spirit. She treasured simple moments—playing cards with family and friends or sharing coffee and conversation with loved ones.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerald S. Powers Sr.; her sister, Pamela Devine; and her brother, Mervin White.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Powers, Gerald (Crystal) Powers, and Robert Powers; her brother, Elton (Angela) White; her brother-in-law, Glenn (Donna) Powers Sr.; her cherished grandchildren, Jeraldene, Keri, Joshua, Melanie, Jenna, Weston, and Liam; great-grandchildren, Shyra, Kimjay, Airi, Ayumi, and Myles; and great-great-grandchildren, Crystal and Jerry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved pets, Rebel and Midnight.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Patricia will be laid to rest at Sand Hill Cemetery, and a celebration of her life will be held this summer.
