Nellie (Ryan) Taylor Crossett

Bloomfield - Nellie (Ryan) Taylor Crossett, age 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, after a brief illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Frank) Montrose; four grandchildren, Sheri (Rob) Breeze, Kyle Taylor, Cari (Jonathan) Taylor, and Molly Hilderbrant; four great-grandchildren, Jaclyn (Joe) Warren, Gabriella Taylor, Wyatt Wadams, and Luke Taylor; great-great-granddaughter, Quinnlin May Warren; brother, Gerald (Wanda) Ryan; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Crossett; son, Ronald Taylor; and granddaughter, Karon Lynn Taylor.

Nellie was born in Dickinson, NY, and was the daughter of Lynn and Dorothy (Snyder) Ryan. She formerly worked as a home health care provider. Nellie retired from CooperVision after several years there. She also assisted her husband with their standardbred racehorses. Nellie was respected, loved, devoted, nurturing, and the loving matriarch of her family. She loved all animals, ice cream, and the NY Yankees.

Services are private. Interment will be in Millers Corners Cemetery, Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario County Humane Society, 2976 Co. Rd. 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
