Michael “Mike” Hathaway

Michael “Mike” Hathaway, 66, passed away peacefully at his home on May 8, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kate Hathaway, as well as his parents.

He is survived by his son, Dalton Hathaway; his cherished granddaughter, Luna Hathaway, who brought tremendous joy and light into his life; his brother, Brian (Gena) Hathaway; and his sister, Sue (John) Kline.

Mike will be remembered for his love of bass fishing, the countless memories shared with lifelong friends, and the easygoing spirit he carried wherever he went. Whether out on the water or spending time with those he cared about most, he valued simple moments, laughter, and companionship.

Although his passing leaves a tremendous void, his memory will continue to live on through the family and friends who loved him deeply. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating the life of Michael “Mike” Hathaway on Friday, May 15, at 4:00 PM at the Canoga Sportsman’s Club, 3228 Cemetery Road, Seneca Falls.

Mike loved spending time with friends, sharing stories, and enjoying the simple things in life. We welcome all who knew him to come together to honor his memory, share stories, and celebrate a life well lived. We hope to see you there.
