Marylee P. Park

Marylee P. Park, 79, of Ithaca, NY, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Born November 22, 1946, in Ithaca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Clara Orzino Leonardo. Marylee was a graduate of Ithaca High School and started her career at Ithaca Gun Company, followed by 40 years at Borg Warner. She loved to shop, especially for shoes.

A loving wife and mother, Marylee is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard Park; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Park (Anthony Hurd); and son, Timothy Park (Shelley); a devoted grandmother to Keith Park and Kyle Park, Tanya (William Parsons Jr.), Tabatha (Deon Thomas), Trinity (Robert Monahan), and Brandon (Heidi Hill); siblings, Anthony Leonardo (Judy), Sharon Johnson (Jim), Richie Leonardo (Linda), Joey Leonardo (Lee, deceased), Clara Root (Stanley, deceased), and Frankie Leonardo, deceased. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members, including her four-legged babies, Ollie, Smokey, and Charlie.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 W. Green Street, Ithaca, NY. An hour of calling will start at 4 PM, followed by a prayer service at 5 PM with Deacon George Kozak officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
