Mary Lou Presutti

Buffalo, NY August 1, 1941 – April 16, 2026 Age 84

GENEVA - Mary Lou Presutti, formerly of Geneva, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Hospice Care in Buffalo, NY, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery alongside her beloved husband.

Mary Lou was born in Geneva, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy McKeever. She attended William Smith College and, following her graduation, began her career with the Telephone Company. After the birth of her son, she devoted herself to raising him while also working at Moses Real Estate. She later returned to Verizon, where she served as a manager until her retirement in 2001. Mary Lou was an active member of her community, including Our Lady of Peace Parish, the Geneva Planning and Zoning Board, the Geneva Housing Authority, Geneva City IDA, Ontario County United Way, and Catholic Charities.

In 1967, Mary Lou married the love of her life, Dick Presutti. Together they built a wonderful life until his passing in 1995. Their enduring love and partnership served as a meaningful example to their family.

Mary Lou and Dick welcomed their only son, Rick Presutti, in 1968. She found great joy in her role as a grandmother, cherishing time spent with her grandchildren—especially family vacations and attending their sporting events.

Mary Lou is survived by her son, Rick Presutti, and daughter-in-law, Michele; her three grandchildren, Alyssa (Chance) Anzivine, Justin (Hailey) Presutti, and Gabby (Connor Langl) Presutti; her two great-grandchildren, Ezra and Charlotte Presutti; her brother, Robert (Johanna) McKeever; her nieces, Kate (Steve) Loughman and Teresa (Gary) McBerryhill; and her great-nieces and nephew, Penelope Loughman, and Margaret and Charles McBerryhill.

Memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities or Hospice Foundation: PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240-0590 or via email at [email protected].
