Kristen M. Pesta

GENEVA - Kristen M. Pesta, 44, passed away at home March 27th after a long courageous battle with an inoperable tumor.

Kristen was born January 5, 1982, in Camp Springs, Maryland, to Ronald and Cynthia Pesta. She was the second of four children. Kristen was a graduate of Waterloo High School, class of 2000. After graduation, she dabbled in professional cooking but then found her calling in the healthcare profession. Kristen worked as a CNA for many years and also completed a National Phlebotomy Program.

Kristen loved her dogs and her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her father Ronald Pesta; siblings Jennifer, Cody, Sarah (Lloyd); nieces Jazmin, Destini, Shanice, Lana, and Marleigh; nephews Jason (Cassidy) and Lavelle; great nephew Yondel; and great nieces Mah'Dasty and Annalyce.

Kristen is predeceased by her mother Cynthia; grandfather LeRoy Jensen; uncle LeRoy Jensen; both paternal grandparents Stanley and Anna Pesta; and two of her beloved dogs, Kapone and Gotti.

Kristen requested a private family service. If you would like to honor her memory, do so by being kind to animals and advocating for pit bulls.
