Kim M. (Malenick) LaLonde

Kim M. Malenick LaLonde, 69, of Auburn, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026, in Auburn Community Hospital.

Born April 17, 1956, in Auburn, she was the daughter of Gloria Jetty Malenick and the late George Malenick, and was a graduate of Auburn High School, Class of 1974. Kim was employed with Auburn Community Hospital, starting in housekeeping in 1978 and retired as a CT Tech Assistant in 2019, taking a short break to raise her girls. She enjoyed camping around NYS, with the last 6 years having a permanent spot at Time Out Family Campground, watching the Food Network and, above all, cherished the time she spent with her family, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to her mother Gloria, she is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Robert LaLonde; two daughters, Shelly Bush (Aaron) and Molly LaLonde (Josh Rogalski); grandchildren, Lucy and Kashton; siblings, Mark Malenick (Jill), George Malenick, Karen McLaughlin (Mike), and Laurie Wise (Ike); and several nieces and nephews. Kim is predeceased by her father George and brother Scott Malenick.

Calling hours will be conducted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Kim's birthday, Friday, April 17, 2026, in the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn.
