Kathryn Jackson
Kathryn Jackson, 93, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, January 24, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at the Redeem Bethel Church, 4496 NY-104, Williamson. Her Going Home Service will follow at 12:30 PM, with the repass immediately after. Burial will take place in the spring in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.
Kathryn was born on March 17, 1932, in Millen, GA, the daughter of the late Saul and Maybell (Foreman) Taylor. She worked for many years at Duff Mott. A longtime member of the Upper Room Family Worship Center, Kathryn was a woman of deep faith who volunteered in many places throughout the community, always offering her time, compassion, and helping hands to those in need.
Her greatest joy was crocheting—her favorite hobby, one she enjoyed every day. She cherished time spent with her family and was known for her kindness, strength, and steady presence. Kathryn touched countless lives with her warm spirit and unwavering love.
She is survived by her daughters, Gloria and Laurie Jackson; her sons, Clarence, Earl, Carrie, Lee (Wendy), Addison “Ed” (Denise), and Albert Jackson; her sisters, Lucy Lee Hines, Lillie (Paul) Bell-Jenkins, and Jeanette Elizabeth (Joseph) Cromarti; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Billy Lee and Timothy Jackson; her sisters, Fanny Bell Mays and Loavenia Thomas; and her brothers, Joseph and Saul Taylor.
