Jaxson A. Purnell

It is with profound sadness that Wayne and Bailee (Eggleston) Purnell Jr. announce the passing of their son, Jaxson A. Purnell, who was born into the arms of angels on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at Newark-Wayne Hospital.

At this time, there are no public services planned. In addition to his parents, Jaxson is survived by his siblings, Bryson, Grayson, and Olivia Purnell; along with his grandparents, Karen (Lynn Swinehart) Purnell, Patricia Yaple, Wayne (Natalie) Purnell Sr., Roy Hyde, and Thomas Eggleston. He was recently predeceased by his Pop Pop, Stephen "Steph" Webster.
