Martville: Janice Carol (Dumbleton) Earle, 89 of Martville, NY, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Huntington Living Center.

She was born on May 19, 1936, in Castile, NY, to Richard Dumbleton and Hazel (Redanz) Martin. Throughout her life, she worked in various secretarial and bookkeeping positions until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening, exercising and walking, taking long drives through the countryside, listening to country music, square dancing, reading, and working on crossword puzzles. A devoted dog lover, she welcomed many furry companions over the years, including Daisy, Angel, Panda, Alf, Satan, and Barney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Loren Burton Earle, and her sister, Donna Moulton.

She is survived by her three sons, Larry (Sue) Earle of Charlotte, NC, Stephen (Sue) Earle of Martville, NY, and Loren (Lorraine) Earle, Jr. of Lockport, NY; her two daughters, Jo Anne (John) Sangillo of Roanoke, VA, and Micki (Robbie) Gibbs of Cross Plains, TN; and her sister, Joyce Bruinix of Michigan. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

There are no services or visitation planned at this time. Her ashes will be buried alongside her husband’s at a later date in Cato-Meridian Cemetery in Meridian, NY, in accordance with her wishes.
