Jane Welcome McIntyre
Jane Welcome McIntyre of Jordan, NY, age 89, Jan. 14, 1937 – May 2, 2026.
Our beloved Jane went to be with her Lord and Savior on the evening of May 2nd with the love of her family surrounding her. As were her wishes, Jane passed peacefully at her farmhouse where she lived her entire life. Jane’s only wish, as she said, was “to live a quiet life and never hurt anyone.” Her loving, forgiving heart allowed her to do just that. Jane has been our family treasure, always there to give, share, forgive, and to love us unconditionally. Her caring and generosity extended to all family, friends, and acquaintances. Jane was sensitive to need. She had more pleasure in giving to others than attending to her own needs or wishes. She had such a sweet, loving smile when she saw happiness in others. Jane loved Jesus, whom she has known since she was 7 years old. She was a faithful member of the Memphis Baptist Church until she passed. Always at the Sunday services, prayer meeting, Bible study, and choir, Jane “walked the walk,” giving a quiet, constant testimony which affected many lives. Jane loved to have people at her home, making all welcome at any time. She worked at General Electric for 37 years, but found time to have a farm and animals. She loved her home and all it entailed dearly. All the blessings she brought us could never be related. Jane, we love you so.
Jane is predeceased by her parents, Cheyenne H. (Burdick) and Frank A. McIntyre, sister Shirley L. Brennan, and brother Kenneth F. McIntyre. She is survived by her sister June H. Becksted, nieces Leslie J. Carlson (SO Ron Davis Sr.), Tabitha (Timothy) Bellner, Sarah J. Carlson, and Candace McCall. Nephews Andrew P. Carlson, Ronald (Ann) Brennan, Kenny and Josh McIntyre, Jimmy, Zachery, and Alex Brennan, and Benjamin Bellner. Sister-in-law Patricia McIntyre and several cousins, great-nieces, and nephews.

Burial will take place following the service at Warners Cemetery. Following the burial, friends are invited to a reception at First Baptist Church of Memphis, 1960 W. Genesee Turnpike, Elbridge, NY 13060.
