James Mitchell Turner

James M. Turner, 61, of Weedsport passed away suddenly on February 26, 2026.

James was born on November 11, 1964, in Elbridge, NY, and was the child of James and Beverly Turner. He was a graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and went on to work at Lockheed Martin for 25 years. James was known for his love of hunting and enjoying time with his grandchildren.

James was predeceased by his wife, Carmella, and his parents, James and Beverly.

He is survived by sisters Valerie Cottrell, Joanne Turner, and Carol Stage; children Anthony (Chantell) Giannantonio, Ashlee Kolzynski, and Trisha (Brian) Gaffney; grandchildren Blade, Ellysa, Jameson, Ben, Cheyenne, Brianna, Elizabeth, and Jacklynn; and great-grandchildren Truce and Auraya.

Services will be announced at a future time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.
