Canandaigua – Jacqueline (Martino) Smith, age 88, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, after a short illness.

She is survived by three sons, William (Catherine) Smith, Todd (Laurie) Smith, and Matthew Smith; her son Robert’s partner, Patrick Shepherd; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Smith, in 2008; son, Robert T. Smith, Jr., in 2024; and three siblings, Laurence Martino, Marion Benson, and Carol Castner.

Services are private. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Parish, for St. Mary’s Church, 95 N.
