J. Rosella Dusky

J. Rosella Dusky, 93, of Ithaca, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on February 26, 2026. Born Josephine Rosella Anzalone on August 12, 1932, in Fredonia, NY, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Josephine (Conti) Anzalone. She was raised in the Roman Catholic faith and was baptized at St. Paul's Church in Erie, PA.

Known for her sharp intellect and independence, Rosella spent much of her professional life serving her community. She worked alongside her late husband, Maurice A. Dusky, as Office Administrator for the Ellis Hollow Road Apartments, a community serving older residents, where she worked with quiet competence and care.

Rosella's greatest wish was to spend her final years in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by familiar things and memories. She achieved this.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice A. Dusky, whom she married on July 19, 1958, and by her siblings. She is survived by her two sons, David L. Dusky of Ithaca, NY, and Maurice E. Dusky of Chicago, IL, and her three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Stephanie, and Alexandra.
