Frances T Picciano

Frances T. Picciano, of Weedsport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in her home with her family by her side.

Fran was born August 14, 1928, in Auburn, NY, to the late Walter and Theresa Redmond Hearn. She was a lifelong resident of Central New York, graduated from Port Byron High School, and raised her family of six children in Weedsport with her loving husband of 52 years, Raymond.

Fran enjoyed socializing with her close circle of friends. She was a member of the Weedsport Garden Club and the St. Joseph's Altar Society. She was a sports fan who golfed, bowled, played cards, and rooted for her NY Yankees. Fran most looked forward to her weekly get-togethers with friends Kathy, Barb, Marie, Angie, Doris, and others to drink coffee, discuss local happenings, and then shop for the best deals.

Frances is survived by her sons Joe (Denise), Peter (Angela), Rick (Paula), Jon (Kate), and Rob (Tammy); her grandchildren Julia, Justin, Nick, Sam, Alex, Zach, and Christopher; and her eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband Ray Picciano, her daughter Denise Picciano, and her siblings Jack, Jean, and Mary Jane.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport, and held privately for her family. In honoring Frances, please consider donating to Hospice of Central New York.
