Elaine A. Parrish

Ionia - Elaine A. Parrish passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, at age 92. She was comforted by the love of her family, each of whom were able to spend meaningful time with her.

She is survived by her son, Ronald (Sandra) Parrish; four daughters, Linda Breese, Anita (Ronald) Robinson, Donna (Edward) Johnson, and Colleen Dawson; ten grandchildren, Christina (Jim) Breese Rowland, Kimberly (Andre) Breese, Sarah Foley, Holly (Chad) Parrish Trickey, Laura (Caleb) Parrish Moore, Robert (Sarah) Parrish, Ashley (Jake) Johnson, Lindsay (Brad) Scott, Katie Robinson, and Michelle Robinson; five great-grandchildren, Julianna Breese, Elijah Breese, Ethan Breese Rowland, Landon Scott, and Carson Scott; three great-great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Moore, Annabelle Parrish, and Alaia Perkins; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy N. Parrish, in 2017; sister, Marilyn Loden; sons-in-law, Gordon Breese and Pat Dawson; and grandson-in-law, William Foley.

Elaine was born at home in Avon and was the daughter of John and Ruth (McCullough) Riordan. She was a member of the Ionia United Methodist Church. She loved her family and staying at home, raising her children, before taking jobs at Crosman Arms and PB Machine. Elaine, along with her husband Roy, owned and operated Roy-El Landscaping for 13 years. They enjoyed traveling and towing their camper throughout the United States. Animals held a very special place in her heart, and she cherished her cats and dogs throughout her life.

Services are private. Interment will be in Millers Corners Cemetery, Ionia.
