Donald Albert Lee Tennant, a beloved father and dedicated member of the Bath, NY community, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at the age of 84.

Born on May 7, 1941, in Morgantown, Donald lived a life characterized by hard work, family bonds, and community involvement. Having completed his education, Donald established a solid career as a body and fender mechanic, demonstrating skill and commitment in his trade. He proudly served as an employee at the U.S. Postal Service in Henrietta, NY, until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Priscilla Tennant, and his wife, Sharon Tennant. Donald is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Covell (Christopher Schojan); his son, Jonathan Covell; grandchildren, Alyssa Hotalen-Chandler (Logan Chandler) and Alexander Hotalen; and great-grandchildren Henry and Sophie Chandler.

He will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, his dedication to his family, and his ability to touch the lives of those around him.

A graveside service with military honors to honor Donald's life will be held at Bath National Cemetery on Friday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m. Donald Albert Lee Tennant's legacy of hard work, love for family, and commitment to his community will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
