Dayle F. Kirkwood, age 82, of Bloomfield, died April 6, 2026. He was born the son of the late Fred and Fern Kirkwood on November 15, 1943, in Canandaigua, NY. Dayle was an Army Veteran and worked for the Town of Bristol Highway Department for many years prior to his retirement. He was predeceased by his son David, parents Fred and Fern Kirkwood, his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Linda Kirkwood, and his in-laws Leo and Elizabeth Shellman.

Dayle would go to coffee with his group at the Dandy Mart, formerly Bristol Trading Post.

He is survived by his wife Susan, brother Phil (Mary Ellen) Kirkwood, sister Patti Schultz, nephews Kevin (Sue) Kirkwood, Todd (Christine) Kirkwood, and Greg Kirkwood; nieces Kelley (Jim) Nudd and Erika (Thomas) Murdaugh, along with many cousins and friends and his special dog Abby.

No prior calling. Friends may attend a Celebration of Life at the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post 1278, 4931 County Road 36, Honeoye, on Saturday, April 25, at 2 pm.
