David S. Brown

GENEVA – David S. Brown, age 90, of Geneva, NY, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at St. Stephen’s Church, 48 Pulteney St., Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Geneva.

David could always be seen smiling and full of joy. Boy, did he have a sense of humor. David loved Elvis Presley, the Denver Broncos, old-time movies, and would spend hours watching Perry Mason and Murder, She Wrote. He enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores and had many collections such as angels, cups, and knickknacks. David loved to paint and sold many pieces of art. He even had artwork displayed for sale at the Dove Block. Some of his past jobs included working in the bakery at Bell's grocery store and collecting carts at Wegmans.

He is survived by his brother, Jack Brown; his cousins, Patricia (Gary) Wurstner, Michael (Renee) Myers, and Marsha (Jeff) Drier; and his longtime girlfriend, Elaine.
