Christian Reyn, Jr.

Wolcott, NY August 7, 1930 – January 18, 2026 Age 95

Christian Jr. Reyn passed away peacefully in his own home on January 18, 2026, at the age of 95. Born at his family home in Huron on August 7, 1930, to Christian and Lila B. Reyn.

He was brother to five sisters and a life-long resident of the Wolcott area, leaving only to be stationed in Germany during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He was employed as a long-haul trucker and thereafter dedicated 49 years to local R.E. and H.J. McQueen Bros., working his way up through several roles to become their primary salesperson, advising fruit growers all over New York State for tractors, sprayers, and fruit harvesters.

Even more dedicated was he to his beloved wife of 72 years, Kaye Yarrow Reyn. They married June 12, 1954, and he continued his role as her doting soulmate until his final moments.

He will forever be remembered for his practical jokes, quick wit, and tightest of hugs. He held close the frequent get-togethers hosted by his family, where smiles were contagious and uproars of laughter were constant. He was a model of the human experience; wearing his heart on his sleeve, he lived as an example of his wish for his loved ones to “love and be loved.”

His gentle stillness will forever be missed by his wife, Kaye; daughters Robin (Chris) Scholla, Christine (Jeffrey) Stuck; and son Richard (Beverly) Reyn; 10 adoring grandchildren; and 16 amazing great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at Norton Funeral Home in Wolcott on January 31st, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Christian’s loved ones would appreciate donations to Lakeshore Ambulance, 5841 New Hartford Street, Wolcott, New York 14590, in his name.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the Lakeshore ambulance paramedics and state troopers for their timely arrival, kindness, and professionalism during this difficult time.
