Charles H. Rotundo

Waterloo: Charles H. Rotundo, 89, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Huntington Nursing Home. There will be no calling hours. A private service and burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Charles was born February 28, 1937, in Seneca Falls, the son of the late Joseph Rotundo and Lena Bell. Throughout his life, he worked many jobs in and around Waterloo, most recently at Connie’s Diner, where he was known as a hardworking and familiar presence in the kitchen.

He enjoyed collecting cans, taking long walks, and spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Tammy Rotondo (Arnold Hoerter) and Cindy Rotondo (Jamie); several siblings; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Picarro) Rotundo.
