A graveside service will be Thursday, April 2, at 10:00 AM in the Riverview Cemetery, Phelps.
Born on January 16, 1948, Burton was the son of the late Burton W. and Maude M. (Beardsley) Dennis. He worked for many years at Abbey Industries and was known for his steady work ethic and easygoing nature. Burton enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, which brought him peace and joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his fiancée, Janet DeMay, along with many good friends who will remember him with affection.
