WATERLOO – Brenda M. Jorgensen, 74, of Waterloo, NY, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Huntington Living Center.

In keeping with Brenda's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Southwick Cemetery, Junius, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southwick Cemetery Association, c/o Kay Brownell, Treasurer, 675 Dublin Rd., Clyde, NY, 14433.

Brenda was born February 5, 1952, in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Gordon D. and Ann A. Dawley Jorgensen. She was a 1970 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Brenda was employed with Goulds Pumps and then the Girl Scouts of America Camp on Rt. 318 in Junius. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed selling her crafts at various events. For a while, Brenda was proprietor of her own craft shop in Waterloo. She was a former member of the Junius Presbyterian Church and later attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Seneca Falls.

She is survived by her life partner Alan "Tim" Fitzpatrick of Waterloo, NY; brother Dana (Debra) Jorgensen of Waterloo, NY; many nieces and nephews; and aunt Shirley Dawley of Clyde, NY.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents.
