Ara E. Pedian, age 94, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026.

Mr. Pedian was born in Chicago on October 23, 1931. He was a graduate of Belding Elementary School and Carl Schurz High School, and Ara proudly served his country as an Airman in the United States Navy.

Ara was the President of Pedian Rug Company and a man of many passions — an avid tennis player and an accomplished professional trumpet player.

Beloved husband of Katherine A. nee Ramazzini; loving father of Lisa Marie Visconti, Mark Ara Pedian, Andrea Lynn (Jai) Elhert, and Steven Armand Pedian; proud grandfather of Jessica Visconti, Gabriella Zwolfer, Nicholas Pedian, Lilian Pedian, and Charles Pedian; son of the late Vartan and Araxie Pedian; brother of the late Haig (Agnes) Pedian and Vahan (Ruth) Pedian.
