Owasco Lake Watershed Management Council May Acquire 2 Cayuga County Parcels

Will the Owasco Lake Watershed Management Council add additional lands for preservation and water quality protection?

Doctor Adam Effler with the Council says there’s a possibility of taking over additional parcels from The Nature Conservancy.

 

He adds the board is weighing its options.

 

The Management Council is an inter-municipal nonprofit that aims to protect and restore the health of Owasco Lake and its watershed.
