Roofus, a black and white cat, was recently rescued after being stranded for several days.

The Auburn Fire Department and the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY this week used cat food and a pet carrier to rescue a cat stuck on an icy roof at home on Seymour Street. The cat had been on the roof for several days.

According to Syracuse.com, the cat nicknamed “Roofus” was spotted on Facebook and will be reunited later today with its owner.

The cat’s real name is “Junior.”
