Yates County Property Owners Can Apply for Ag District Inclusion

Starting Wednesday, the Yates County Legislature will accept requests from landowners for the inclusion of viable agricultural property into the Agricultural District for a thirty-day period.

All requests should be submitted to Yates County Soil and Water District Manager Colby Peterson at 417 Liberty Street in Penn Yan, 14527. Requests shall include the tax parcel ID numbers and description of the land (acres, predominant land use) for each of the parcels to be considered for inclusion in the Ag District.
