A Branchport man was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital after being involved in a motorcycle versus Jeep crash in Yates County.
The accident happened in the area of State Route 54A and Aumick Road at around 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon. The operator of the motorcycle, 71-year-old Christopher Vanhouten, was taken to Rochester by Lifenet for treatment of leg and chest pain.
The driver of the Jeep, 71-year-old Richard Miller, of Bath, was not hurt.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports charges are pending the result of their investigation.
