Woman Killed in Tompkins County Crash

The investigation into a fatal car accident in Tompkins County is ongoing.

State Police say 38-year-old Cora-Su Brooks, of Groton, was driving north on Fall Creek Road in the town of Dryden just before 10 Friday morning when her car went off the road and ended up striking a tree in the front yard of a residence on West Malloryville Road.

Brooks, along with her 29-year-old front-seat passenger, Rochelle Landon, of Ithaca, were taken to Upstate Medical University Hospital for treatment of non-disclosed injuries.

The rear-seat passenger, 35-year-old Kimberly Anthony, of Rochester, did not survive.
