WGI & Corning Museum of Glass Present “A Winning Wednesday”

NASCAR race cars on display outside the Corning Museum of Glass with visitors and a bus.
NASCAR race cars are displayed outside the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, as part of a special event presented by the museum and Watkins Glen International.

Watkins Glen International and the Corning Museum of Glass are teaming up to host an afternoon that blends the history of glass craftsmanship in the community, with the history of racing in Watkins Glen. Those in attendance can view some iconic cars on display, witness hot glass demonstrations up close, and see the Go Bowling at The Glen trophy, crafted by the Corning Museum of Glass

The event will also feature a special Watkins Glen edition of the Museum’s “You Design It” program, where youth can sketch a racing-themed item to be entered for a chance to have the Corning Museum of Glass bring that drawing to life in an original glass structure.
