The Village of Watkins Glen is asking residents and local businesses for feedback on the future of the seasonal ice-skating rink at Clute Park.
The rink has been a popular part of Clute Park’s improvements and a favorite for many in the community. However, the Village Board says rising costs and unpredictable weather have created financial challenges, with expenses for staffing, utilities, and materials far exceeding the revenue generated.
Village officials are now seeking public input to help determine whether the ice rink will continue as part of the community’s seasonal recreation offerings. A link to the survey is here
