Rushville Accident Remains Under Investigation

We’re learning more about a two-car crash that brought emergency crews to the intersection of Ferguson’s Corner and Middle Road Saturday afternoon.

Middlesex Fire was called in around 2:20 to assist Rushville Fire with the response. When crews arrived, they found both vehicles, one hauling a horse trailer, with heavy damage and debris scattered across the road.

Firefighters helped shut down the area, ensured scene safety, and assisted with post-crash cleanup. No hazardous materials were reported.

Also on scene were Middlesex Ambulance and the Yates County Sheriff’s Department. All units cleared the scene by around 4:00 p.m.

So far, no word yet on injuries or cause. We’ll update you as more details become available.
