The Steuben County Office of Emergency Management is advising residents to report any damages that may have occurred due to Friday’s heavy rains.

Those with damages in need of assistance can call 211 and provide their address, contact information, and the type of damages. They will then be connected with appropriate community service organizations for their needs.

Residents can also use the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services Damage Self Report Tool available here.

Additionally, those seeking to help their neighbors in the community can make monetary donations to the Steuben County Flood Relief Fund. Administered by the United Way of the Southern Tier, the money will assist nonprofit agencies helping local flood victims.
