Person Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run in Ithaca

Ithaca Police say a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle just before 11 p.m. Friday near West Buffalo Street and Taughannock Boulevard.

The victim was airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment. The vehicle involved fled the scene, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. The victim’s name has not been released due to the severity of their injuries.
