On Friday, around 3:30 p.m., the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle accident on State Route 227 near Potomac Road in Burdett.
Investigators say the motorcyclist lost control while rounding a curve and was ejected from the bike. The operator, whose identity was not disclosed by the Sheriff’s Office, was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital for treatment.
Burdett Fire & Rescue and Centralus Health Ambulance assisted at the scene.
