The Village of Montour Falls Hall and Court building, located in upstate New York, serves as the center for local government operations.

The Village of Montour Falls will hold a public hearing later this week to discuss the Catharine Court Apartments Needs Assessment and potential Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for 2025.

The CDBG program, administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal, provides funding for housing, economic development, public facilities, infrastructure, and planning projects that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents. The village is seeking $25,000 in CDBG funds to conduct a comprehensive facility assessment of the Catharine Court Apartments. The hearing will provide information about the CDBG program and allow residents to offer comments, provide input on proposed grant applications, or suggest alternate project proposals.

Thursday’s hearing will be held from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Montour Falls Village Hall
