UPDATE: Missing Vulnerable Adult From Ithaca Found in State Park

3 P.M. UPDATE:

92-year-old Eckhart Lindemann has been located and is safe.  He was located by a search party within Taughannock Falls State Park.  He was not injured but will be transported to a local hospital to get checked out.

Lindemann was reported missing around 2 p.m., on July 10.  After developing information, a search began around 6 p.m., on July 10 in Taughannock Falls State Park.  Lindemann was located shortly after 2 p.m., on July 11.

New York State Police are searching for a missing vulnerable adult whose last known location was in the Taughannock Falls State Park.

92-year-old Eckhart Lindemann is from the Ithaca area believed to have been wearing tan Carhartt pants, a button-down shirt, a sweater and ASOLO hiking boots.

The area is saturated with law enforcement from multiple agencies, drones, and K9s in an attempt to locate Mr. Lindemann.
