The Dryden Central School District has closed for the day due to air quality issues at its schools caused by the fallout from the Canadian wildfires.
The announcement comes from Superintendent Joshua Bacigalupi who says the interiors of the district’s buildings are becoming hazy and cloudy. He also says students and staff have reported symptoms such as trouble breathing, headaches, and congestion.
All after school activities have also been cancelled and Senior Awards will be recognized, announced, and distributed at commencement.
