With the help of State Senator Lea Webb, the Food Bank of the Southern Tier has been given 400-THOUSAND dollars in state funding to pay for infrastructure projects across its service area. The Food Bank will use the money to buy heat pumps, a tractor-trailer, and other equipment in its warehouse in Elmira.

Every week, the Food Bank of the Southern Tier feeds more than 31,000 Southern Tier residents and distributes 18 million pounds of food each year.
