An accident on a Yates County farm Saturday afternoon claimed the life of a Dundee man.
Travis Hoover was operating a farm tractor on a pond dyke at 5513 Waugh Road in the town of Starkey when it tipped over off the edge and rolled down an embankment and trapped the 25 year old underneath it.
Hoover was pronounced dead at the scene by the Yates County Coroner.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Dundee Fire Department, Yates County EMS, the Yates County Office of Emergency Services and the Coroner’s Office
