With the new school year set to begin next week, one local school district wants to get parents and students ready for the first day.

Dundee Central School will hold its second annual Back to School Night on August 29th. Organizers say the event is a chance for Dundee students, their families, faculty, and staff to come together, and build strong partnerships between home, school, and community. It will allow students and families to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and serve as a chance to drop off school supplies for the upcoming school year. The event will also allow families to explore multiple community resources.

An interactive and engaging scavenger hunt will be available during the event. The Class of 2025 will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser in the DCS Cafeteria from 6 until 7:30 p.m.

The August 29th event will take place from 5 until 7 p.m. with the first day of school set for September 4th.
