Driver Airlifted After Serious Crash in Schuyler County

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer in the Town of Cayuta.

Deputies say the collision happened around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of State Route 224 and County Road 12. The driver of the car was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured.

Authorities are withholding the name and condition of the car’s occupant while the investigation continues.
