Work Moves Forward on Crooked Lake Canal Project

One of the projects funded by Seneca Lake Pure Waters’ Sediment, Nutrient, and Pollution Reduction program is the Crooked Lake Canal project between Keuka and Seneca lakes. Consultant Ron Klimczar says the first phase of the engineering study on reviving the canal was just completed

The Canal carried goods between Seneca and Keuka Lakes before it was abandoned in 1877.
