Cornell University Student Identified in Ithaca Gorge Death

Cornell University has identified the person whose body was found in the Fall Creek gorge near the Stewart Avenue bridge on Sunday morning.

Winter Knutson was a sophomore math and physics major in the College of Arts and Sciences and a graduate of Ithaca High School.

Police do not suspect foul play in Knutson’s death at this time.
