Capriotti Properties has announced its expansion beyond the City of Elmira with the acquisition of three historic properties in Watkins Glen and Montour Falls.

The properties, which were fully renovated in the 2010s by Nelson Development Group of Vestal, now mark Capriotti’s official entry into the Schuyler County market. Company officials say the acquisitions serve as a foundation for further investment in the region.

“This is just the beginning,” the company said in a statement. Plans are already in motion for additional property acquisitions, renovations of other historic buildings, and — for the first time in Capriotti’s history — new construction projects.

The company says more announcements are expected in the coming months, including updates on apartment availability and development projects throughout the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country.
